I am so many meanings it's difficult to express. I am from a past filled with a mixture of dark and light. I am from moments of joy much like a smile singing within a refreshing rain. I am from pain much like a dreary dark night laced with tainted tears suspended from any caring eyes. I am from lost voices, from destroyed dreams, from dancing connections, from lifted possibilities.
I am from a mother who loves me more than her own life. She expresses it in the way our eyes link during certain moments or when she presents a favor to me. I can see the steps she has taken; the weight s
